Our Religion Program
At Sacred Heart School, our Religion program nurtures the spiritual growth of our students by providing them with a deep understanding of their faith through engaging and age-appropriate lessons. We use two key resources to guide their journey:
Pflaum Gospel Weeklies (Grades K-6)
The Pflaum Gospel Weeklies program delivers weekly lessons that connect the teachings of the Catholic Church to the Sunday Gospel. Each lesson encourages students to reflect on the Gospel message and apply it to their daily lives. With activities, prayers, and discussions, Pflaum provides a dynamic and interactive approach to learning about the liturgical calendar, sacraments, and the Church’s teachings.
Blessed Program (First Sacraments)
For students preparing for their First Sacraments, we use Blessed, a special program designed to guide children through their First Reconciliation and First Communion. Through beautifully illustrated stories, engaging videos, and easy-to-understand lessons, Blessed helps students build a personal relationship with Jesus and understand the significance of these sacraments. The program fosters excitement and reverence for these important milestones in their spiritual journey.
Together, Pflaum Gospel Weeklies and Blessed offer a comprehensive and meaningful religious education, preparing students for a life of faith and service.
